Who TF cares? Do you think the established churches are communicating Christ's message? This dude is telling us that Christmas (the established fictional birthdate of Jesus) is NOT about SHOPPING. This is not revolutionary; this is common sense. People used to MAKE presents for each other yet now they fight each other at checkout stands to buy Sony X-Boxes. Unbelievably, it takes a B-movie star to alert us to this situation, rather than a church. Go figure.
because you (notabook) didn't see the movie, you don'y know what you're talking about. The "Reverend" and "Church" are actually performers making a social statement that has nothing to do with Christianity
Actually I did. I torrented the moment it was released - I wouldn't pay one cent for it because the message is completely hypocritical. Of course they are performers, did you actually think otherwise? They are ACTORS and their message is hypocritical, period, regardless of who they are. STOP SPENDING YOUR MONEY-AH on THIS-ah and THAT-ah and INSTEAD-ah, buy my video-ah! HALLELUJAH, PRAISE BE TO JEBUS!
on the other hand someone just got trampled today entering a store to get a jump on holiday shopping ( friday after thanksgiving) how can this tragedy be supportable...what kind of mindset are you interested in cultivating? the format/ messenger may be not be palatable to you or suit your taste...but the message is definitely worth a consideration.

(being terribly sarcastic, as I agree with you totally...I already do that!)
