Warmachine - Gorten vs Nemo

Karen and I play a 29pt (all of my Rhulics) Warmachine match.

I try out my Searforge Commission (Rhulic Mercenaries) army for the first time while my wife plays a recently updated version of my Commander Adept Nemo list that has a recently acquired Journeyman Warcaster and a day old Squire.

just one thing (I'm a rhulic player):

You said that the Driller charged in, hit with the drill arm, missed with the grappler and then missed with the extra attack from focus.

It's not possible as tha drill arm has sustained attack, and you automatically hit with all the extra attacks of the drill arm if you hit with your initial attack.

Yeah if u use Jr, Arlan, and either Ayiana and holt or the witchfire girl whose name I just forgot, Then nemo has 10 FOCUS EVERY ROUND!

@snarlton1 I have since acquired a journeyman warcaster and Arlan for that purpose but find it very hard to squeeze a third spell caster in for Nemo's arcane accumulation at 35pts (our standard around here) so I sometimes take a squire for that 10th on an important turn. Great fun and Lady Aiyana & Master Holt would be my 3rd choice.

Nice battle report. Regarding the Avalancher, the card is a misprint. The Rockram has the same problem. The Forces of Mercenaries book has the shield and gun listed as matching the model. I'm sure at some point they'll reprint the card, til then just swap the L and R on the card to match the model.

great battle report =) One thing - try giving Junior a Charger. You might not end up using the Charger every turn but it's a cheap model and when using Junior's Focus to fully bost his 2 shots, the Charger can absolutely wreck face! I tried it instead of the Hunter and haven't looked back! that 12+3d6 twice a turn can even put solid dents into heavy warjacks. Really good. Oh yeah and don't forget that the Stormcallers cause Disruption, so favor using their single calls on Warjacks =)

just saying nice job killing your GF off =P and for the last part if your cannon is in the left arm and your left collum is broken then your gun is gone. so pritty much what ever is in your left and right arms if it gets damaged or blown off then thats it.

@MasterOfOrdinance Your right at those points its hard to do get those other spellcasters in there. Alexia was the name of the model I was trying to think of, I guess she has a new model coming out in wrath( cav model possibly?), might be a great way to round out that 35pt Nemo list.
