Salamander MSX - Boss Run - Part 2

See my attempts at figuring out getting the good ending fail!
Seriously, I knew this game was mean, but I didn't think it would just FAIL like it did...

Ergh.

How annoying!

Couple of notes:
The emulator being used is BlueMSX. This comes with built in cheats that let me level skip. If it wasn't there I wouldn't of bothered to continue when the game screwed up. Yeah, well it was last at night when I screwed me over and I wasn't in the best of moods.
This is why i'm so underpowered for the last few levels.

Boss Notes:
Venom:
I'm suprised, the shield actually blocks his lightning beam of death. Attempting to fight him normally is very difficult, yay for safespots! And if you think it's a bit lame... it's quicker to do it my method anyway XP

Zelos Force:
This thing has a legitimate chance to kill you if you don't get one of your options inside it, as you don't do much damage otherwise.

Slave Core:
I assume this is the same as Dead End, and you need to destroy all the Cores to kill it.


Oh well, enjoy it and the stupidly hard to get ending.

Ah, it's a good thing Konami learnt from Salamander MSX. the fact that it only tells you that you need Nemesis 2 in the manual (and not about the prophecies, etc.) shows just how sadistic Konami can be.

Oh, the predictions say which core you must destroy to affect the Giant Core at the end of the game!

the instruction manual tells you that you can use salamander with nemesis 2 for an enhanced experience i still have the original games.

The other silly thing about the good ending is that not all msx's could take 2 cartridges like the toshiba model so you could never get the good ending on that system.
