Even though the Moon shows the same basic face to the Earth, it wobbles slightly because its orbit is not perfectly circular and its axis is not aligned exactly with Earth's. This movie shows the portion of the Moon visible to the Earth over several months around the time when radar data of the south polar region of the Moon was collected (Courtesy of NASA)

@korzon Nope, it rotates about once every month, which is about the same time it takes the moon to go around the Earth. Try it with two balls. One as the moon, draw a dot on one side and fly it around the other ball without rotating the ball with the dot. The ball with the dot will show all of its surface to the other ball. Now do it by pointing the dot at the other ball as it goes around. You will require to rotate it which is just what the moon does.

It is wobbling now I can see the face change constantly now.I don't know about all that nibiru stuff but the moon is having some problems is this normal?I wasn't taught this in school they said it stays still facing us?

I seen it wobbling with the naked eye a few days ago. My Mrs thought I was stoned. I felt like I was on The Truman show for a while.

@BjornPalmen slowly it is, eventually the moon will break away and the earth will be thrown into a new unstable rotation because just as the earth keeps the moon locked, the moon regulates the earths rotation and axis tilt
