I do not own Thomas The Tank Engine! It is owned by HIT Entertainment and this video does not make or intend to make a profit.

Air Date: 4/12/1992

Narrator - George Carlin (US)

Season 3 - Episode 21

Douglas takes a Midnight Goods Train to the Other Railway. There, he discovers a frightened engine called Oliver, escaping from scrap with his brake van, Toad. Douglas and his Crew work through the night to help them escape to Sodor, and succeed. The following morning, Sir Topham Hatt discovers Oliver and Toad at the Works, and acknowledges Douglas's idea of saving them from scrap. They are soon refurbished and put to work on Duck's Branch Line.

  • US or UK? Label your videos plz

  • @lmallanao If you look in the information box it lists all that info like that the fact that this is a US episode and the videos I have are labeled by narrator, this being a (GC) video means it is George Carlin who is narrating and he only narrated US episodes.

  • Soooo many memories

  • @SupaFrank09 Also Edward's Whistle is badly damaged on the 1st close up of him

  • @TheWaluigiking I believe it was. same with that other face Edward makes when Douglas tells him to stop laying in the sun. Two rare weird faces.

  • Oliver was by-far one of my favorite characters. He had one of the best theme songs and the Brooklyn accent that George Carlin gave him was fitting.

Before CGI era FOR THE WIN! :)

  • 0:27 that's a rare but creepy Edward face is this the only time it was shown?

  • my childhood :)

  • This episode scared the crap out of me when it first came out and STILL does. HIT Entertainment can't do that...nor can it make a good plot with a crash or a "3 strikes" rule every episode.

  • i like how oliver and douglas are head to head

  • @RSGCMA2 Some people do not know how to read and you can tell based on their spelling. :p

  • @BCARR88ify You forgot the lines about that brake van. :)
