Douglas takes a Midnight Goods Train to the Other Railway. There, he discovers a frightened engine called Oliver, escaping from scrap with his brake van, Toad. Douglas and his Crew work through the night to help them escape to Sodor, and succeed. The following morning, Sir Topham Hatt discovers Oliver and Toad at the Works, and acknowledges Douglas's idea of saving them from scrap. They are soon refurbished and put to work on Duck's Branch Line.

Oliver was by-far one of my favorite characters. He had one of the best theme songs and the Brooklyn accent that George Carlin gave him was fitting.

This episode scared the crap out of me when it first came out and STILL does. HIT Entertainment can't do that...nor can it make a good plot with a crash or a "3 strikes" rule every episode.
