Driving on those snow roads at that speed is a DEFINITE chance of oil pan smashage if you hit a chunk. Skid plates are a MUST if you drive a slammed MKIV.

whenever i hear my skid plate scrape it doesnt bother me bc i know its not the oil pan.

Does this come with the Sound insulation that you would get with the Plastic skid plates?
