Matsui: End the Funding, End the War!

This video was made for the Sacramento Coalition to End the War. We are asking our Congressional Representative, Doris Matsui [CA-5] to stop funding Bush's "war" and occupation of Iraq. It is time to Bring Our Troops Home Now!

Rep. Doris Matsui, D-Sacramento has stated she is opposed to the Iraq war, but like many Democrats, continues to fund it. The ad suggests Matsui is failing to "protect" the troops and of funding "Bush's war." It asks voters to call her and tell her to vote against supplemental funding (you can call her at (916) 498-5600 or (202) 225-7163.

Matsui is also the target of what is the longest sit-in by anti-war advocates in the state and country. The "peace-in" marks Day 42 Thursday. It began Jan. 8, 2007 at Matsui's downtown Sacramento office.
