A fetus cannot feel any type of pain until 28 weeks (7 months) because the "pain" signal sent to the brain has not developed until then -- and by that time, most abortion providers refuse to operate because an abortion that late is incredibly dangerous and the woman could die. In addition, how is a fetus at all a person before it can survive on its own outside the womb? People have THOUGHTS and FEELINGS. A fetus before 7 months does not, therefore FETUS does not equal PERSON. WOMAN = person.

wrong a baby can feel pain long before the 7th month. if not then why do babies suck a thumb monthes before that? if a fetus can experience pleasure can it not experience pain? if they do not have thaughts or feelings then why do they respond so posatively to music voices and light brought to the womb? once a baby is born it still depends on its mother for survival, viability does not = human . look apon the face of a shreaded murdered baby of abortion u will see pain horror and a silent scream

STATISTIC (something SHE doesn't use to support her arguments): the vast majority of women in the world who are raped are POOR and of low income, and the morning-after pill costs MONEY. Why should a poor rape victim have to suffer while a victim with money who can buy the pill does not have to?

There is just as much risk in legal abortion as there is with illegal abortion? What a joke! Abortion is one of the most safest procedures. Most abortions are done with swallowing a pill. Illegal, back-ally abortions are far more risky and dangerous than an legal abortion. Abortion IS necessary whether you personally agree or not. Actually, there was a considerably higher proportion of botched abortions when abortion was illegal. Generally, abortions that occur in a medical facility are more secure. This is NOT, however, a justification for the legalization of abortion. Abortion is the termination of a human life and cannot be condoned. If a woman tries to get an abortion, then she is a criminal, and I do not have sympathy for her. What she is doing is killing her baby in cold blood! It is a crime against humanity!

There is one woman on youtube who made this argument. Her words were, "Why should the fetus have any more right to use someone's body without consent than anyone else?" This may sound radical, but I hope such women burn in Hell. They are sinners and will be judged for their lack of morality. The fetus is a developing human being worthy of the right to live, and women have absolutely no right to harm it. For a woman to kill her own baby is an disgusting atrocity. Abortion is cold-blooded murder!

If they do not want to deal with a baby, they should give it up for adoption. Abortion is not necessary. Those with the “pro-choice” philosophy would argue that one's rights end when one's actions impose another person without consent. This statement, however, is devoid of basic moral values. As though the fetus has any choice but to use the its mother's body! Why should whether the woman wants the baby define whether or not the baby is a human being?!

I agree with you entirely. The abortion rate that has soared since Roe v. Wade is an abomination. If the mother’s life is in danger, I would put hers before that of the fetus, but generally abortion is evil. The behavior of so many women is immorally capricious. They get involved in relationships lightly, become pregnant out of wedlock, then get an abortion. Abortion is thus being used as a method of erasing the shame of promiscuity. What they are doing is killing their babies in cold blood!
