  • hope you had the key to the engine in your pocket......

  • I had the turning device controller in my hand.

  • thank god that you did and no one else.. how many tonnes of hydraulic pressure do you need to stretch the rod bolts? the ruston v16s call for 25

  • 815 bar for the 2 bottom studs & 600 bar for the 2 lateral (side) studs

  • I wonder if you do the same thing in an EMD 16-710...

  • You could if your knee high to a grasshopper.

  • @CoryMcwinburn anywhere from 8,000liters up to 75,000liters. Usually runs on MobilGuard 300 in the sump and a cylinder oil such as Shell Alexia LS in the liners. Usually the same brand is used for both oils but I'm drawing a blank on ExxonMobil's cyclinder oil names.

  • How much oil does one of these monsters require?

  • Yeah right, maybe the other way round.

  • mental..truly menatl engines

  • that is soo cool i never seen inside a engine maybe a car engine but not a ships one
