  • Because this is a performance during a competition, and the audience usuallly are applauding at the end of the selection of pieces.

  • @s6pultura Because in this Competition, they only applaude when the competitor enters to the stage, and when he/she finishes the round performance only. 

  • the guys playing this piece in this years competition should have listened to this first..

  • That's one of the best renditions I've heard of this piece. You balanced the fire and the ice! Not too much passion but not too academic (like Pollini). Well maybe a little academic, but I loved this.
