My Les Paul straight into the amp. All the knobs are at noon in the beginning. I haven't seen a good demo of this amp yet, and that's not to say that this one is good either, but this amp is more versatile than most people think. Also, if you flame, you will be spammed. This is strictly a demo of the tones that the amp can produce, so try not to be a prick.

  • Agh I'm sorry, but this demo's terrible. You basically only use the distortion setting, and everything youre playing revolves around generic riffs and just strumming the low E. This doesn't show the tonal versatility at all, or give any idea of the clean capabilities of the amp.

  • @Papadupulous Sorry man. I made this video almost two years ago and I've improved a lot since then. If I still owned this amp, I'd record a demo that did it true justice.

  • is this a good heavy metal amp?? with effect pedals i mean

  • @fritzmaster418 If you replaced the speakers, and closed the back of the cabinet and ran a really good distortion pedal voiced for metal, sure. Otherwise, no.

  • is this the 2x12 or the sinle speaker one? cuz i was thinkin bouts gettin the one with the single speaker

  • @Shiiheadbrett This is the 2x12 model. The 1x12 model lacks the built in chorus.

  • @fritzmaster418 This was my first amp back in the 90's and paired up with a good eq (i used a DOD atthe time) I pretty much nailed Overkills YOD album... So yeah, properly tweaked (like any rig), you'll get some nice tones.

  • This is the only amp i've ever owned so i do not have a lot to compare it too.. I find the clean tone pretty sick but i find that the ultimate tone on this thing belongs on the dirt channel.. minimal gain (maybe at one, max), half presence (no more), and crank the volume.. I barely use the chorus except at a very slow rate as an anti-boost to fall back when necessary.. with a full band this amp blows though, even while miked through a PA.. No bragging rights for top end at all.. It gets lost...

  • I say the same thing. My friend had one back in High School and I know its potential. Not enough out there on this amp.So true its a great sound for a combo solid state.

  • i own this same amp and i love it. i have never heard a prettier chorus on a solid state. thanks for this demo. this amp doesnt get the appreciation it deserves.

  • i have this amp, but it doesnt do the job for metal, i would sell it but the clean channel is pretty badass.

  • @fritzmaster418 I have the head version of the M80 Chorus and I run it through a Mesa Boogie Rectifier cab. The V30 speakers make it sound pretty mean. But in the stock cab, it sounds like ass and it gets buried in the mix while jamming with other people. I actually only really use mine for the clean sounds. I find the dirty channel too thin.
