This place is very interesting to traverse. Pretty much a ship dungeon with ships as treasure chests. Quite depressing and foreboding though. I like how they added a random discovery in here too. That and a crew recruitment. Robinson's recruitment is quite interesting too. Just don't forget to grab the only normal treasure chest in this dungeon in that ship.

This place is the worse.

The red portals kick you out.

Then you have to start from the beginning.

The music is just eerie.

Without the music of the random battles I'm not actually sure what to do.

Yes indeed. The music is eerie. And when you find Robinson in this place you understand why he's so messed up.

Is this the Dreamcast or Gamecube version? On my Dreamcast it seems that random combats are much more frequent.

Gamecube. Most people usually know because they always tell me the music quality sucks. Which is true compared to the DC version but it's not awful. I think the random battles were dumbed down in the GC version.

The music in the Dark Rift was always my favorite, and I just loved this area in general... even if it was a tad frustrating. It gave the game so much more atmosphere and made you realize that not every Air Pirate was super successful like Vyse... some of them had broken hearts and broken dreams :(

Thank you so much for uploading this, brought back so many fond memories...my favourite rpg experience of all time. If my DC hadn't died i'd still be playing. I agree with tips, I think the black moon will be in the sequel

Black moon stone? I didn't know about any black moon stone. Now I gotta go back into that bloody place and find it. That dark rift gives me the willies and not the good kind. Thanks again for this. The sooner I get that discovery the sooner I can get on with the rest of the game.
