Zachary Z2 through the Skank Amp

This is a Zachary Z2T played through the Zachary Skank amp. The Z2 is such an incredible guitar.... The guitar is plugged straight into the amp with no pedals. The amp is on high gain channel with the gain at 75%, tone 35%, and Master Volume 60% - not even pushing it. I start off with the full neck humbucker, move to the neck/bridge, and then full neck bridge humbucker, going back the neck just before the end. The backing track is the demo track from the drum sample CD 'Retro Funk' that I looped just for fun.

Is that body pine?It sounds real spongy.

@spentonmediocrity Thanks. No, the body is hard maple and mahogany. I think the 'spongy' quality you are referring to is from backing off the tone control on the amp and recording with a large ribbon mic.

Can someone post something demo-ing the pure clean tones? Tone open and rolled off? It has obviously great soft distortion and high gain. What about the clean though.

When I started reading Alex' site I thought, "oh great, just what the world needs, another Ed Roman." But after watching some videos of you and others playing his axes I have to say I'm impressed.
