  • cant tell, but that looks like an olympic bar... so all those lifts are 20kg heavier than it says! the 120kg looks like 3 x 20kgs on each side... that isnt including the bar!

    impressive!

  • @Gannondalf

  • Did i hear norwegian? Viking Power!

  • Old man? You're younger than all those guys, may they be in 20's or 30's, who all they can do is to be in front of a computer screen and lose age and vitality every freakin' year.

  • just favorited this video because it is truly one of the most inspirational pieces of video out there. I have spinal problems that I was born with and still lift 3-4 times a week to not only strengthen my back like therapy but also to get stronger to prove the point to other yazoos out there that age is just a number and handicaps are just a state of mind... Thanks for posting this because I'm going to use this guy as further inspiration for myself and others!

  • 64? I don't think that's so old. Very nice pressing for any age.

  • @secutorclaudius Well an arched back during a bench press will not cause any back damage as all the stress is on the shoulder, elbow and wrist joints. The reason people arch their backs during bench presses is to change the angle of the press and untilize they pecs to the maximum. Besides an arched back is when the back is flexed forward (not back like it is here) and is usually mentioned when squatting and deadlifting and so on.

  • Great form. Don't call yourself an Old Man though. Your far better than the roided up muppets I see on youtube and down the gym. Your obviously young at heart and keep it up.

  • not bad for an old man lol

  • arched back = bad disks? whell, flat back = fucked up shoulders. trust me, grampa has probably been lifting for a long time, he knows what he's doing. most people can't even touch that in their twenties.
