Think in terms of 3/4 time while playing sixteenth notes: (1)RLRL (2)RLRL (3)RLRLL (repeat). You just add an extra sixteenth note (the paradiddle at the end leads you back into it).

It's not all that amazing. It's just an odd time signature. When you can count it you can play it. It's 13/16ths counted as grouped 1/16th notes: (1234) (1234) (12) (123) or 1***2***12123. See, simple. Count it; practice it; play it!
