My daughter made this in a one-week animation class at her school. She was age eleven at the time (in 6th grade, not 7th as I wrote earlier). The animation is felt-board captured at 12 fps with a digital video camera and a Mac running iStopMotion (made by Boinx Software). The music is stock tracks pulled from iDVD or Garage Band or some such application -- she can't remember. Also: there is no gun in this video. Snowmen aren't afraid of guns.
