Devil May Cry 4 - Dante - Mission 16 Legendary Dark Knight

Man, Dante's best crowd control moves involves him being in DT and/or really slow attacks with lots of windup or cooldown. Makes for LDK to be quite a feat. At least Dante can use Trickster and RG to avoid or block attacks though.

I'm thinking of taking a PS3 or X360 copy of DMC4 with me today to Kawaii Kon, go to their video gaming room, pop in the game, and do a bit of Stylish showing off.

I wouldn't do it on a 360 personally, the 360 controller for DMC4 feels so UGLY

@Shadow680 So I tried playing DMC4 Bloody Palace with the PS3 controller.

Good god, that thing feels like ass compared to the PS2 controller. And I'd imagine the X360 controller would be a thousand times worse.

The "Triggers" kicked my ass on the PS3 controller and the buttons just don't feel right. The only saving grace about the PS3 controller vs the PS2 controller are the analogs.

aww i though you were gonna dominate Berial /-: i really think they should of kept the damage boost on the guns when using Gunslinger like on DMC3

After having practiced a lot now... I like your style of playing, I play very differently nice to see your way of doing things.

I do have to admit though that I haven't got royal guard under controll but it isn't anything I'm missing sofar... What is you're oppinion about royal guard? A must to master?

And I also use the 2 handed guns over the crazy all type of weapons guns, seems to be much more usefull (only the built up meter seems usefull).

@Keirnoth no need for a decent rig really, i play it on a 6 year old PC and it plays like a charm, not on maxed out graphics but with some tweaking i got it to run on 100+ frames and on high graphics

@9taildfox909 I can see that trickster is usefull then, I ussually use my shotgun to shoot them out of the air... Did you mean 78 with dante? Cause I have no problem doing bloody palace with Nero (even got stage 1-100 uploaded on my channel).

@lnmylife I'm the same thing. I only use trickster to deal with those floating swords and to dadge the thrird boss. Royal Gaurd doesn't exist to me. I played up till 78 with Nero

@9taildfox909 I think everyone has that problem... When i play I only use swordmaster and gunslinger, can only get to stage 56 in bloody palace (with danté) so I guess that says enough ;p

Y'know I barely used Royal Gaurd. Idk why but when I'm in the middle of a fight, Royal Gaurd doesn't exist to me. Guess that's one of the reason I suck.

@Keirnoth With me the biggest problem is only having a PC, I'm not going to spend money for a PS3/XBOX360 just to play 2 hack and slashers.

I do play DMC4 with my xbox controller though... I have to admit it's a bit tricky switching styles sometimes but for the rest I think it ok, but I still have a long way to go with Dante.
