Holy Sheot!!!!! The Homer Alaska Halibut .40 cal GOLDDOT HP S&W Dispatch 80lb'er

Here in Alaska, Kachemak Bay, Halibut Capital of The World, try to hit them right between the eyes. It will normally stun them and or kill them long enough to get them on the deck before going crazy. Some folks like to use a harpoon beforehand. That method is good but they will thrash and go crazy on you, and your tip may not penetrate all the way through or it may just simply rip out. Shooting them first IS the best way to stun them 1st! Tight lines all.
