@BritishTributes if you go back a little bit further it would have been family favourites on the `wireless` and spam for tea (no fire ,coal was rationed)

Remember going to see them as a child at the Liverpool Empire Theatre in the late 70's in a panto, I was around 8 or 9. Mum always managed to get seats right at the front every time we went. Because Mum kept laughing really loud, Bobby came down from the stage and sat on my mum's knee - WHAT A GREAT MEMORY - IT WAS SO FUNNY!!
This remids me of sat nights as a kid.Bathtime at 6 then pyjamas on and usually egg chips and beans for tea.Then in front of the fire and watching cannon and ball on tv.What great nostalgia it takes me back to carefree childhood days longone now !
