Actually, I think Fat Buu isn't Buu at all. I'd call him the pure essence of the innocence of Dai Kaio, personified. Otherwise, I don't think it would have been possible for him to exist at the same time Kid Buu did. He might be the same type of being, but I don't think he was actually 'Majin Buu' per say.
