I am watching the cycles and mechanical movement and I don't see how this would work. The compression portion of the stator doesn't allow fuel air to reach the so called spark. Maybe its just the view. Can you please explain?

this is way to complicated to use in an automobile. I prefer conventional rotary and reciprocating engines over this.

this is awesome check out the 3d view on the website
has already one attempted to make an engine like this?????
what is the advantage about this engine over the standard linear motors?

Thank you for the question. Combustion chamber with the spark plug is open to accommodate compressing air-fuel mixture by the down-slide movement of the "compression lid" when the "combustion lid" is in the closed position (i.e. in the upper one). In such a case the volume of air-fuel mixture between the "space separator 3" and combustion chamber is driven into combustion chamber.

Advantage of any rotary engine over conventional reciprocating one is that no force is wasted in the transduction of the reciprocation to the rotation. As far as this one is concerned then its advantages are described in the web site specified above. But one can really appreciate the advantages and determine whether it is "too complicated" for practical use only when it is made and tested. Hopefully, soon...
