I've had the Tempest for a few days and decided to share some of the things the Tempest can do live. All of the sounds in this video are from the Tempest. Nothing has been mixed (sorry I just threw this together on a whim). There are no external Effects or synths used. This is quickly turning into on of the best pieces of gear I've ever owned and the OS is still in Beta. OS 1.1.2

FX used
Roll
Delay
LP Filter knobs
LP Filter on the touch pad
ADSR to shorten the main synth sound
Reverse

  • did you side-chain the kick or is that the videocamera's mic compressing like that?

  • @limeyamos It was recorded as a stereo track directly into Ableton. No effects or compression were used. Thanks for checking out the video!

  • for a thrown together demo this is good man! The Tempest sounds great too, first demo I've heard that makes me want one.

  • @MrMongoosenz Thanks! This machine is super easy to use. Best work flow I've seen in a long time.

  • @limeyamos it does kinda do the effect within the machine from my experience. it's not an adjustable asset really. .. . .there is a compressor you can turn up on the master out as well. i haven't stumble across any parameters for it other than it's dial. just to be clear, i have found no side chain feature on the machine. this machine is a good one! - and promises incremental updates too.

  • @ttaralli it really sounds like the kick has side chained compression on it, that "pumping" effect where everything else gets quieter momentarily when the kick comes in. do you think that's youtube's compession causing that?

  • I like it . I'm calling Sweetwater this week !!!!!!!

  • $1999 though, ouch!

  • @dreamprobe Thanks!!!
