@viniciusb Our camera bags are the choice of working professional photographers who put these bags (& zippers) through daily rigorous use. When Doug started Think Tank Photo, zippers were THE major problem in photo bags and we aimed to solve that. It would be common for our competitor's bags to have zippers disintegrate just 6 months of heavy use. We searched out YKK as the highest quality zippers and haven't looked back. Regardless, I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
@ThinkTankCustSvc Dude, if you want to make your commercial believable try doing something else to it that other zippers wouldn't withstand, because as I said, any fucking zipper will withstand 30 seconds of sandpaper. Oh, and use some other name, Ruppert Murdoch fucked yours!
@viniciusb Sorry for the terribly late reply but see the response above regarding inferior zippers. They do get damaged over time as abrasion wears especially on corners of bags used frequently. Just let me know if you have any additional questions!
@sillywabbit92 When abrasion occurs to inferior zippers, they can pull apart quite easily. We also use self-healing zippers on our bags which can repair themselves if the teeth ever get off track. Did you have any other specific questions on the components we use or specific products? Just let me know ;)
@jjlwis ...they reshape with the run of the zipper rather than simply jumping out of their tracks and spilling your precious gear into the river...

..what does this prove?

I'm pretty sure that sanding off the top of any zipper won't damage it.
