Chris Martin is not emulating anybody, he's just being himself.. Look at all the other cats who were themselves and look how they've become legends, just by expressing themselves; Hendrix, Lee (Bruce, obviously) Mercury, Marley, Dylan, Fela Kuti, etc... Be yourself and you too will be brilliant.

If I ever become a musician, (hopefully I will) I'm going to be just like Chris (personality wise) I mean, you go up in front of a bunch of people, and you act like youre playing in front of your best friends. Make a couple crack ups to get everybody relaxed, then start playing as if youre in your own room. Him & Coldplay is the biggest & best inspiration to band or any person.
