Well he certainly doesn't sound like a used car salesman. That's for sure.

what a useless prat!--------he couldnt string one sentence together and he said "err" a thousand times.........
hope the cars are better than this stop/start "presenter"....

The Tesla Model-S is an an awesome car. The average person in America only drives 15,000 miles a year. That is 400miles a month and 200 miles every other week. The Tesla Model-S battery has a range of 300miles. So you charge the car every other week which is very convenient.

I really don't think it has anything to do with that and that we may even be straying from the point.
I've been following Tesla since Elon Musk joined and from day one he has spoken like that.
It may be nervousness whenever speaking to a mass or even a slight speech impediment, but he has always, always had that minor fumble of words in his speeches.
-
Well then he must have an issue too due to the fact that he is not very confident in his company, although he founded many sucessful ventures such as Paypal, this musta been a bomb shell.

@abdul456 Elon Musk talks that way.

@OneOfaKind949 Actually, the e6 range is 205 miles on a Chinese city cycle. I suspect real world driving in America would yield 130 miles. Maybe.
BYD hasn't released the price of the e6 yet and don't even have dealerships. I don't think GM is worried about them. Yet.
-
BYD from China has a 5 passenger all electric car (E6) that will run 250 miles on a single charge. You can charge it up to 50% in less then 10 MINUTES!!! The Volt has a hard time with it's 40 mile range... which takes for ever to charge. They are planning on selling the E6 in the US in 2011 for half the price of the Volt. I bet you everything GM is sweating electric bullets at this point.
Tesla is a new company. Yea he's a nervous dude.

They're not that new. They've had very capable spokespeople in the past. This was either a joke gone wrong, or someone goofed.

@TheAutoChannel this is not a spokesperson, he's the CEO. The visionary behind the company, so to speak. He's achieved amazing things, but he's not that strong public speaker. Gotta cut him some slack man...

@zlozlozlo
I'm sorry that you chose not to read what I actually wrote. But why would we cut him any special slack. I'm not aware of anything special that HE did in this venture. I'd be interested in hearing from you just what you think that HE innovated.
