  • Or possibly some other form of bomb launched from an aircraft, in which by that time the Luftwaffe had lost air supremacy.

  • Pretty unlikely, most of the V2 rockets were launched from Holland which was still occupied I understand. Plus the rockets were manufactured in an underground bunker. Maybe someone could shed some more light thought its doubtful that V2 rockets would have been transported to an area that was under threat of an allied advance at the time.
