Chris Bashinelli had been acting for nearly a decade, with credits including The Sopranos, when he decided to head to Tanzania in 2007. He realized the power of TV to influence millions and wanted to find out what his generation could do to change the world. Bridge the Gap: Tanzania is a documentary that will be made into a TV series, to be filmed in the least developed countries on Earth. Through interviews with leading experts, including the UN Ambassador to Tanzania, viewers are educated about the situation abroad. The excitement happens when a kid from Brooklyn is thrown into the world of rural Africa! From catching chickens with the Maasai, to conversations with a Black Panther, Bridge the Gap: Tanzania inspires us to better our world.
