  • I'm 16-year-old and I just discovered this band a month ago : I'm speechless. All I can say is that I was born in the wrong decade...

  • Only Fish could sing a love song to a prostitute, and make it work! BRILLIANT!

  • a friend of me had a poster of bono in his room and i asked who bono was and he was like :O u dont know, because he grew up with it. the i asked him, do u know marillion? he was like whos that and i had the same exprission on my face as him.

im 16 and i just grew up with marillion so i dont know better :P

  • @Rushrock They were totally 'B'sides themselves '

  • I've always thought that's what Fish was on about. I've always understood about a married man who has what appears to be an ongoing affair with a prostitute, who is apparently in love with him. And he's asking her basically how does he compare in bed to to the her other clients.

  • I really don't mean to be vulgar, but there's something I don't quite understand about the lyrics, can somone help?

Every time I hear the lines "was I alright? did you come tonight?" I wonder if he's speaking about his sexual prowess and giving her an orgasm... I mean, I'd find it a bit unfitting since it's so explicit, and didn't he imply they never got involved anyway? Or is it meant to be ambiguous? Can any native speaker clarify?
