ROSE PARADE 2010: WAY to GO LAUSD, HONORS MARCHING BAND 09-30-45

"...358 total, 5 leaders, 4 drum majors, 270 brass, 25 flag bearers, 50 percussion, 13 banner carriers...We have been known to perform with smaller groups of around 20-25 students for special events around the city of Los Angeles....In 2008, The Los Angeles Unified School District High School Honor Band had the honor of being the "official" marching band of the Los Angeles Dodgers 50th Celebration. The band led the Dodger float in the Rose Parade and, for the first time in it's history, changed the uniform by wearing the LA Dodger hat....The band also worked with Channel 34 to serve as musical ambassadors to the bands of El Salvador and Puerto Rico.
...This band is recognized as being one of the only brass and percussion ensembles of its kind in our nation.
...The LAUSD All District High School Honor Band has been in integral part of the second largest school district in the nation since 1972 and has performed at high profile venues and events, such as Disneyland, the Greek Theater, the Coca Cola Centenniel Parade, Super Bowls, World Series games and more...The band is starting to work on its goal to be a part of the next Presidential Inaugural Parade...Anthony L. Yes it's a short video but that does not take away from the greatness that All-City has to offer.

Yes. You wear your uniform on the 16th but have your other clothes in your bag as well.

pretty short video, but that day was so much fun. i got three more times to do it. and if anyone knows if we wear our uniforms to our pick up place on the 16th, keep me posted. xD
