@Hirofufumi yea and they are also flexible with players going back over seas to play for there country during the season that is why USA's Todd Clever left the Lions in south Africa to play for suntory in Japan
very true but i still think that they should try and make the most of ther career by trying to play in the highest league level of rugby they can aahieve but at the end of there careers they can go there older and wiser teaching the young japanese and get a bomb of money
admittedly japan isnt the strongest league at the moment, but they are trying to improve their league. signing players from other countries is a normal way of improving things, and the young japanese players can learn from them.
if a player wants to play in japan, and the japanese will pay their wages, its all good. after all, its a free market.
they are using there salary advantage to lure top class players to waste there career by not playing for there country
but players that are only going to be playing for a couple of years is not so bad but to temp someone who is young and has got a great career ahead to waste there time in japan and not get any caps for there country.one last thing they lure these players so they can get japanese citzenship so they can play fo japan and i think that it is wrong and unfair
japan paid a lot for world top leve players to come over to japan. cuz if japanese rugby kept playing only against each other, then we wouldn't improve much. it's not cheating. it's leaning from great players. i don't know why you could't see that.
I would love Japan to become a big presence in International Rugby! It would be great for the sport and the fans!
