this is he best talkbox video on youtube, thanks. the only thing that confuses me is the power source... does your amp have an ext cab out and you juts use that? how does that work? i havent built one yet so im trying to figure everything out before i do

@gabe13311 I modified the amplifier to have an output that wouldn't fry the horn driver, but still got maximum sound. As for my amp, it's just a Line6 Spider III 2x12. I also made another amplifier out of an old PA system that works very well, just a simple RadioShack off the shelf 40 watt PA. Modified the output on that with a Mono Jack and hooked it through a A/B selector switch. I personally like the PA system the best because you can add in any effects pedals and get the tone you want.

You're in for a surprise with that driver, you hit a low frequency sound it will instantly blow that driver, what you didn't take in to consideration was that that driver can't handle any frequency sound below 1,000khz.

Very observant, you have to use a crossover or a bass blocker, or just use the higher frequencies...a low E goes as low as 60 hertz, therefore, the driver I showed is a great cheap driver, there are ones out there that can handle that lower frequency, but the cheapest ones only handle 1 to 2 khz. Good footnote though.
