This video shows four months of seismic activity centered on the Central America region. The last frame is the January 12, 2010 Haiti earthquake and aftershocks. The size of the circle represents the magnitude of the earthquake with the smallest circles being magnitude 4 earthquakes and the largest at the end being magnitude 7. The color of the circles denotes when the earthquake occurred: red = today, orange = yesterday and yellow = last two weeks. For the latest earthquake activity, visit the Seismic Monitor at www.iris.edu
