@MrSportsFanatic100 Rigth click on the video then go to Pan/Crop if u have vegas pro 10 or 9. There will be options Mask And i think position click mask like in the video 1:27 Hope that helped

Hey I also made a animation of this type of thing! Only I use hypercam to make it! i just record his beak. make it a gif. use irfanview to extract all the frames then I use paint .net to put all the images on different layers and hide all the layers except one then hide that layer and show the one on top! While changing the layers i use hypercams 1 frame key! It works like hell!

how do you get the screen to go black after you finished drawing around it?

@Nibbleator1cp After you click the mask button on the left there will be some text, where it says 'Mode' Change that to Positive.
