What's up Detector OCD...Long time no see. How ya been? Yes I still use this scoop. I don't use it in rough waves with strong currents though. It gets pretty dangerous lol. Nothing on it is plastic.The add on handle is but I do not use that and it is built solid though if I did. What are you wondering about? I think I have some close up pics over at the metal detector in my albums of it. If you need to see a close up video or something let me know, I got ya. Later bro.

Just recently, Sunspot added Lifetime warranty against product defects or failure. This includes ALL scoops manufactured by Sunspot over the last 27 years!!!

Sweet! Although this scoop is built like a tank it has not given me any problems so far....Unlike someone I know, I did not run over it with my car....;)

had a little trouble finding the scoop head in that box..shouldve used your detector lol..hands down best graphics editing and presentation in metal detecting vids on YT good work bro

The older sunspots--I've used one temporarily(A friend's)and it was nice---I like them and may get another one but I am thinking about getting another duck bill scoop with stainless handle like I used to have. But I may go for a sunspot like this---ha!

Thanks bud! I took a year off for health reasons, but I am back and swinging! I just got a Tiger Shark and I plan to hunt the freshwater lakes of PA. Do you think it would be good in rocky areas? Some areas are rough sand and others have small rocks. The thing looks like it is built like a tank. Do you think this one is better to get or the new one they just released? As always, love the vids!
