Former Justice Department White House liaison Monica Goodling testifies to John Conyers before the House Judiciary Committee Wednesday, May 23, 2007, on the Justice Department's firing of eight U.S. attorneys.
Before she resigned last month, Goodling helped senior Justice officials prepare for congressional testimony. She also worked closely with Kyle Sampson, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' chief of staff, who resigned March 12 as a result of the controversy.
He's like 90 yrs old and his wife is that corrupt Detroit politician Monica Conyers, who is now serving 37 months in the pokie. Why aren't there term limits for these old coots?!

@birdyb24 the republican party at the time was quite different from the modern version. the republicans at the time were abolitionists and federalists, and the democrats at the time were pro-slavery. the roles seem to be reversed now, except of course i don't believe modern republicans are pro-slavery, well most of them.

You exact quote, "Why do you hate someone like Conyers-the second Black elected to the U.S. Congress" you were factually wrong. Ez on the bullshit.

Talk about igorance, you're a moron. "the second Black elected to the U.S. Congress" Since 1868, 121 African Americans have served in the US Congress. The first 2 in the Senate were republicans from MS. The first blacks in the House were also Republicans from the South. John Willis Menard, Jefferson F. Long, Robert C. De Large, Robert B. Elliott, etc. Conyers was elected in 1965. By then several blacks had been elected to Congress, clueless. Some scholar. Another clueless Obama supporter.
