The high numbers I mentioned might not mean any talent...but it's obviously working for Madonna, and not for the rest of the people, like Elton John for example, who hasn't made a single hit since Princess Diana passed away. They've been bashing on Madonna for 30 years, and it's not gonna stop now. Smartest woman in the music business with the biggest balls. And people are obviously paying attention to what she does, and writing comments on her video here, like you for example.

Yes, you are correct, you didn't mention her career was over, so I apologize for bringing that up. That comment was made by Elton John, along with the other comment that you mentioned.

Considering the fact that Elton likes to mention her name purely for attention over and over, as well as other, I think a lot of other people are giving "attention whore" a new meaning. And I won't even mention that he "changed his mind" the day after making the comments, and issued a different statement.

The high numbers you mentioned have no bearing upon her being an authentically talented/gifted musician. Quite often, the higher the numbers, the less true artistry is involved.
