@Lovergirl8176 I can't think of anything comparable. They're somewhere between a dog and a devious two year old. Researchers recently discovered wild prairie dogs communicate with a language of many words. Still wild animals, they may be eager to please one day, then defiant the next. Jack in the video is a sweetheart but I wear shoes in the house because sometimes, when I tell the other one 'No', he comes after me. One needs to be prepared for and appreciate such spirit and independence.

Is the guinea pigs and prairie dogs has similar personality? Since it's really hard to find prairie dog, I want a pet that is similar to them. :]

One idea: I bought a pet carrier at a doggie boutique for my small pet - she loves to go inside of it becuase she knows it means we are going out together - I also bring a towel in a bag to wrap her in (head showing)so when we are in approriate places for her to be out, I can hold her, cuddle her close and away we go.
