@babylo0n71407 The reason water will flow from the left side of the filter ( the wrong side ) is because the media used ( sponge ) is full of poop, and water can't flow thru, so it backs up and runs out any way it can, thru the wrong side... solution: you found it, just clean the filtering media ( sponges, etc. ) and it should work fine.

My tank looks same and i bought a aqua clear power filter for it. But the Black strip of the tank is too wide so my filter doesnt fit on it wat shoul i do?

Aqua clear is one of the best I own and operate that brand, it 2 nd to best in hang on the back filters. Although marineland tops all the hang on the back filtration units.

is it normal for the water to be coming out from the left side of the filter? mine was going crazy tonight. I had to take out the two squares inside of the filter (don't know what they are called) and clean them and put them back in. I don't know if my filter is the only one doing this. Is this normal?

Dude seriously get a moonlight your rooms to light a moonlight darkens the tank itself but you can really see their colors cause right now i can only see the rock and blue backround

I usually squeeze the sponges out and clean the biomax in aquarium water. I only replace media when they break down.
