My introduction to my new psychology series!

Mind: I will use this word when I talk about the whole-ness of the active and acting human. That means anything and everything going on in and around the human, are parts of the mind. Not all parts are equal in every situation, but they are all there, and they are all what the mind consists of.

Emotion: An emotion is a mind state that influences choice of goals and actions and which is more or less consistent over time.

Feeling: A feeling is part of an emotions, which is more immediate and bound to the specific situation.

Reason: A tool used to justify goals, not apart from emotions, but as a part of them.

Body: Another part of the mind, wherein the chemical and biological processes of the mind happen, and the part of the mind that is acting.
