Capitalism allows big companies to fail. Socialism doesn't.

Lol...the bailout wasn't capitalism you fucking idiot.

Both ends of the economic spectrum is bad. However, when you have regulations and a free-will consumer and free-will market. Capitalism works. Sure, scientists don't get rewarded as much as an untalented rapper, at least they'll get far more than they will get in a socialist society. Capitalism is you get out what you put in, at the right place, at the right time. Big-firm/entrepenurial with a hint of state-guided Capitalism works best.

I agree with you on this, but blame the culture, most kids these days don't give a rats ass about NASA. Me, I wanted to work at NASA. But, great minds have managed to reap the benefits of their creations, examples: Bill Gates and Steve Jobs.

That only happens when things turn into an Oligarchic Capitalism. The "poor" can be considered as the "uneducated", as awful as that sounds, it is sadly the truth. Big-Firm/Entrepenurial Capitalism is what you put in, you get out. Communsim, jack-all happens. You'll have break throughs but no small innovative stuff like FPS games of the calbire you see today, or smartphones, etc.

@MrFoodforthought92 and 9 months later look where we are at.. looks like millions of Americans are against capitalism and are rebelling in the streets..followed by Europe. hate to say i told you so, but capitalism does not work..not when the rich make the rules anyways.. look up the french revolution mate..that's where we're heading.

@gamefreak1000000 Thanks to scientists we live in the information age and not in the stone ages.
People who bring real benefit to the society are extremely underpaid and people who create rubbish(rap music) are extremely overpaid.
There is more demand for useful things but the people who create useful things don't take the financial advantage of the things they create.
-
@SuperThe86 Well it doesn't work that way unfortunately. You see, in the free market, there is more money in an industry that gets more demand. Since there are a lot of young kids demanding for music, it means that there's obviously going to be more money in that industry. That means that musicians normally get paid high wages if they become a big hit. However, it's as rare to become popular as it is to win the lottery. Again, the market isn't controlled by a government, which is why it's good..
Great man, Great movie.
