I only saw you remove the wax paper, where's the tissue paper? Is stuck on the candle?

Yes, the tissue paper melts into the candle.

Will this work with all colors of candles? My concern would be that the tissue paper would melt into and distort the color of the colored candles.

Can you burn the candle afterward?

So easy to do and good fun, I have made 2 for weddings,one that I made this afternoon, and also a few for birthdays last month. i used baking paper as I cannot find wax paper anywhere but the baking paper works just fine, the type you would line a baking tin with for making buscuits and merginues.

to orlandom25 The black thing she is using is a stamp-a-ma-jig, used to align stamps so you don't have to guess where to place it.

You will need, candle ( of course), tissue paper, ink, stamp with bold print, stamp-a-magi, heat gun, wax paper
