I like how Hitchens and Wilson became friends and found out how much they had in common. Hitchens and Wilson both said they walked away with new positive beliefs in Christianity and Atheism.

However, most of you people are intolerant assholes and really need to have your internet aken away from you.

I believe it to be true that a large percentage of the population does need lots of structure and confinement such as santa, jesus, devil, legal system etc. etc. but thank goodness that there does exist a group that were hard wired for thoughtfulness and common courtesy at birth.

@hoglymogly Actually, as Hitchens himself stated, Wilson held his own quite well. Hitchens admitted he was forced to look at things in ways he had not been compelled to before, care of Douglas Wilson. It's not about hating one side or the other. It's about understanding. If you're rooting for someone to "go down in flames" then you don't get the nature of the debate. You still have a child's understanding of the issue.
