This was w/o a doubt the best meet-up video I've seen. I've made tentative plans to go, but never made a meet-up, finances being what they are is the major obstacle. I've traveled from MO to NYC to meet MySpace friends though. That was a very big deal & the experience of a lifetime. I don't really follow that many people other than you & anakin1814 & admittedly not regularly. Sorry. But I love your videos, still. Not making videos myself who would know me anyway? I watch/comment/rate 5 stars.

Wow, thank you for the compliment. I'm glad these videos provide something positive now and then (and no apologies needed, btw - YouTube is a recreational tool only... or should be anyway).

And never underestimate the value of anything you might wanna contribute. I didn't think much would come of my posting here and I wound up making some fantastic friends.

I have seen other videos of this gathering and I must say I always enjoy your take on these...you show the fun side like everyone else BUT you also look deeper at it..you share a more personal side of the gatherings...more of the gathering videos are to be frank a little boring yours never are. You have inspired me to head to the mini Gathering the Angry Aussie in having next month in Melbourne (as long as I can get the day off work)

I haven't been to one yet. But I hope to. I missed one I forget where It was. I didnt think there would be one near by where I live. So I think If I can find another youtube meet up I will go If I can. They seem fun! you meet alot of awesome people

A major determining factor in who shows up and how much of a success these are depends on who does the organizing. Sounds like maybe the teen set was responsible for the one at Alton Towers.

Yeah, I'd have passed on that too.

I haven't seen evidence of many YT gatherings in the UK, but one of the biggest, held at Alton Towers Theme Park seemed to be jammed to the gills with 15 year olds. I was so pleased I didn't go. I think if I'd turned up, I would have just kept walking nonchalantly by!

Ok, I'm an ass cos I haven't heard of Blzzzkitty or whoever that lovely girl was that you squeezed. Zublime reminds me of Janeane Garofalo. I hope they've had their honeymoon by now? I kind-of officially had my 1st YT meet-up the other week. Just two people. From overseas. Arranged to meet them as they were in the country. And I hate to say it but it was a gigantic flop! I was so excited in the lead-up to it too. Long story but my girl &I were bursting 2get on the train & go home :(
