A couple cheap flashlights that I bought that claimed to be kick ass. Which is better? Are they worth the money?

  • anything over 30 doesnt sound cheap for a flashlight. I hear Fenix is a good brand, their L2D and P3D lights are excellent. I have a slightly different version of the coleman and it is great for edc. I thought it was a great value!

  • We were looking for flashlights for my brother who is going to be a police officer soon and he wanted a nice light. The one other officers were suggesting was the C2 LED Centurion for $160. I wouldnt say these were too high priced ; ). Besides, the illumination is way beyond any bulb light we own, and there are a dozen kicking around the house.

  • Good review. I bought my nephew a Coleman light last year and he ran the batteries dead in two days lol. And Dorcy lights are nice as well. I gave one to my son. Fenix...absolutely. I have the TK35, and its ridiculously bright. Coast is nice, I have a few of these, and Lowe's sells the 500 Lumen Kobalt, and yes, I believe without a doubt it is 500. Thanks for posting, my next light will probably be that Dorcy :)

  • the 1 is the best.

  • dorcey FTW!
