The last scene from the 2 hour special Greatest Rescues of Emergency! Johnny and Roy are leaving the paramedic program and take the captains promotion! One of the emotional highlights of the entire show! Great acting by Randy and Kevin!

  • How is Kevin's last name pronounced? Is it like "Teeg", "Tie", "Tig", "Tige" (Tiger without the "R")?

  • ,,TIE`` !

  • Was this the official "Final Episode" of Emergency?

  • The official last episode was the 2 hr The Convention!

  • thaena, was that the appearance Randy was scheduled for in Indianapolis, IN? I'm sorry I missed it. I understand why he won't do a reunion show but I do hope the cast, or at least Randy and Kevin, are asked to give insights/interviews on any future Emergency! DVD releases and they agree to it. So far the DVD's released have no extras and that's frustrating for at least this Emergency! fan.

  • Randy and Kevin would love to do extras for the DVDs....but Universal is not interested in that!

For me it is frustating too!

  • Thank you paramedic51, it's nice to know Randy and Kevin would do extras for the DVDs. Somebody needs to get that message over at Universal. Um, To Whom It May Concern at Universal Studios, can you have your guys call Randy and Kevin's guys? Isn't that how that works? lol. While you're at it, maybe you can get Marco, Mike N., Mike S., Tim and Robert in there also. We love them too. Heck, give us anything, an interview with the dog trainers.....throw us a bone here. lol

  • @vardiss22 I don't know about that, but when "Emergency" debuted back in 1972, I did notice that Kevin and Randy looked a little like Martin Milner and Kent McCord of "Adam 12". Of course since both shows were done by Mark 7 Limited and Universal, that was probably intentional.

  • @paramedic51 Actually the last episode of the show's weekly run was "All Night Long". This was just the last of the 2-hour "Emergency" movies that were done from 1977-1979.

  • Emergency 51 was so cool in the 1970's!

  • @arnebarnard no, i am not able to say that i have, i missed out on that one.

  • @sr71ablackbird

You do recall that Mr. Benedict was in the short-lived series CHOPPER ONE, right?

  • @roquefortfiles wasn't able to do that, but i was able to manage together a kit that doubles the size of their `drug box' (which was the inspration) for that kit, & it cost a good $500.00 + to do that & it's still growing.

  • @youngercga1968 that, they did.

  • @vardiss22 ahhh, Dirk, haven't heard his name mentioned in a while, other than battlestar galatica and the A-Team.

  • @soulthinggirl hey, ya forgot Chet :P ...lol....

  • @paramedic51 that just goes to show how 'hollyweird' is. what they don't get is that some of us folks miss that show & were watching it when we were children & would like to see that, not to mention the fact it would bring them some bucks in as well.
