Hi, it's not 55HP.

My Smart is a 599cc turbo and it has 62HP.

The diesel versions are mostle around 55HP.

Diesels are the 799cc engines, but they are a little slower.

Also the USA Smart (new modcel) are a 30CM longer and have a 1.0 engine.

yes, the 599cc have 45(or 43)/55 or 62HP AAAAAND the CDI havo "only" 41hp but it has a799cc machine (i think so;) u can research it on google

Yes thats true, the new model starts with 70HP, there are also versions with 85HP, and the new brabus can reach 101HP

I sooo want a Smart with a GSXR 1.0 engine or the 1.3 Hayabusa engine hehehe

They are faster than any bmw! lol

The diesel always have a 800 (799cc), but they are very very slow.

I don't want a Smart diesel duhhh.

It's km per hour. You can see the cars slowly passing behind him. That is I think 90 mph.

Go to the smartcarofamerica forums and other smart owners groups. Many owners have disabled the speed limiter and had reached speeds over 100mph.

120mph is the fastest an owner has ever gone completely stock.

The owner of the Screamin' Cow smart has modded the stock engine (not replaced it with a hayabusa) and it tops out at 145mph (prolly faster now, he hasn't updated his mods on the site) and 0-90 in 15 seconds. 0-60 in less than 8.
