@SilentPunk101 Yes but it's a fictional piece of work based on a real event. I know some of the events happened that Markus Suzak describes, but the whole story was not real. That's like saying books by Phillipa Gregory are non-fiction [God she really is awful] or all the characters in War and Peace are real.

no. Thankyou. Your actually the first person to reply back to me nicely. Most people HATE my comments when trying to point something out to them. For example I saw a video some 2 dudes made involving tieing a karate belt to their heads. I told them its disrespectful to do so seeing as I take karate and this is the one thing they teach you. Haunting work Stacey. The Book is amazing and so is this. The inhumanity of the so called "Master race" never fails to sadden and emotionally affect. Lets hope non of us are ever in that situation, remember Bosnia not so long ago.

The last image scared me. I can't believe how cruel people can be. Killing people and piling their bodies then BURNING them... Just thinking about it gives me nightmares. "Let us always remember..."

technically this book is considered non-fiction because its something that did happen in history.

Interesting that you say that. In the classes I have taken that used this book as one of their YA Lit picks it has always been classified as a YA fiction piece. I suppose the view is while the Holocaust is actual history this book is made up of fictitious characters. The author was inspired to create these characters based on stories told by his mother about her memories. I am going to watch more closely to see if I notice a shift in the general categorization of this book. Thanks for sharing.
