Bambi / Great Prince - "Protect Me"

I've been working on this project for a long time, I started planning it already late in July, but didn't start the project before early in September, I believe. This was a very on/off-project, as a lot of things happened during making it ( had to clean my computer, had no sound for a long time, my extended harddisc broke down, etc ), and for quite some time I thought that this would never be finished.

This is an AU-video ( alternate universe ). In short Great Prince is a pedo-bear molesting the hell out of Bambi, because of something similar that happened to him when he was young ( he talks about it in the video ). Yes, I know that it would be hard for The Great Prince to penerate Bambi, just imagine he is crouching or something, use your imagination!

A shout out to TSCA, my subbers and Megan Fox. You guys make my life worth living. ♥

Another one that deserves a super-big shout out is Summer. She's like my big-sister, and we've been through a lot togheter. Even if you are rarely online anymore, I love our talks, and I really hold onto the moments with you, and I am pretty sure we have many good years ahead of us. I love you! ♥

Editing was FAB, colors were greattt and atmospheric, techinques reflected the themes beautifullyyy. And god it was chilling. The story made me go O.O And GAH! Your manips were FUCKING brilliant girl. All in all I truly do think its perfect...you brought out the dark mood of your story perfectly, and the execution was perfect and stylish.

What I love the most about it is that Patrick Stewart, the guy who voices the Great Prince is also the voice that talks at the end. It's a cut and clip of his voice while he was talking about domestic abuse towards woman. Besides that, this is was a very powerful piece with great song choice.

So I found this video, expecting a sweet father/son sort of gig ("Protect Me" is a very misleading title). So after reading the description, I was shocked. I've seen plenty of non/disney taboo videos, but for some reason, it took me literally half an hour of playing, pausing, and rewinding to actually work up the gall watch this.

But god, I'm glad I did.

Your editing talent is truly a gift. There's something special about the transitions in your scenes, and the clear mood and tone you create.
