yeah, ive always found the tire squeal in iracing to be way too loud. i understand why they do it, but its still really annoying

At least driving Late Models in an oval, the tire squeal is the same than in real life. I wish I could find a COT test run on a small oval, but the in-car cam had real sounds (not the muffled TV ones) and tires were squealing as much as in iRacing.

but in iRacing it is pretty much exaggerated, cause if you hear it that loud, your tires wouldnt last too long, the setup must be pretty bad. Furthermore most of the time it would not be loud enough to drown out the engine sound, so this is not really very realistic

and what really is annoying is this damn tire sqealing, there's no iRacing video on the net where you don't have this damn tire squealing in any fucking turn or corner
