From the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Benefit Concert broadcast on BBC. The other track didn't make it to the DVD release. This live mix (from the FM broadcast) could be better. Video looks better at 480p, though YouTube's conversion still crunches it a bit more than I would like.

@YUFFLE1 I was there too - it was wonderful from start to finish. I loved every band there. And Floyd were just the icing on the cake.

A day i will remember til i die. It rained for the first band, which was Tears For Fears, and then rained at the end for Floyd but the raindrops mixed with the lasers just seemed to add something to the whole show. A day i will always treasure.

Bravo to an amazing RAIN PERFORMANCE ! I saw this live on television in 1990, and still remember the downpour starting during this song. The quality of the video on most YT posts of this don't really show how WET it actually is. That's real rain, not some stage FX. Gilmour pulls off a flawless solo even though he is up front and his hands/guitar are SOAKED (which kills sustain and hampers string grip). This video quality is crisp and excellent, but you can't miss the wetness at 6:18 !!

I too remember watching this, several times actually as I'd recorded it on my enormous VCR. :) Nice to see it again 20 odd years later. Dave Gilmour's guitar solo is spectacular. Thanks for the upload.

I remember watching this. Although the rain was lashing down also driven by a strong wind I think it gets adds to the atmosphere.
I can't understand how this has only recieved just under 750 views so far.
